We aim to reply within one to two days. Simple questions are often answered sooner. If you wrote on WhatsApp or Telegram and heard nothing, send the same message by email as well.
No. The form has no server behind it. When you press a send button, your own email app or WhatsApp opens with the text filled in, and you send it from there. We only receive what you choose to send.
Some browsers have no email app set up. Press Copy message and paste it into any email to contact@privacymetadata.com, or use the WhatsApp or Telegram cards above.
No. Every tool reads and cleans your file inside your browser, so it never reaches our servers. That is also why we cannot recover a file for you, and why we never need you to send us one.
Tell us which tool you used, the file type and roughly its size, your browser and device, what you expected and what happened instead. A screenshot helps, as long as it hides anything personal.
Please do not. A file can carry the very location, name or device details this site helps remove. Describe the problem in words first. If we need a sample, we will ask for a harmless test file.
